Pressing the PS button on your DualSense (or the equivalent Home button on any controller) while streaming with Asobi on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV or Vision Pro does nothing by default. That's an Apple platform restriction, not Asobi. Here's the one-time Setting change that makes it work.
Open the Settings app on your device and follow this path:
Once Asobi is in that list, the PS button gets forwarded to your PlayStation console during a Remote Play session and takes you to the PS home screen as expected.
On iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS and visionOS, Apple reserves the Home button on a game controller for the operating system by default. It's meant to bring you back to Springboard, the Home Screen, or the tvOS home. Third-party apps can only receive the button if the user has explicitly opted the app in through Home Button Overrides.
Asobi can't opt itself in on your behalf, and the toggle only ever lives in the system Settings. There's no equivalent switch inside the app.
Cloud streaming (PS Cloud, PS Now) doesn't route the PS button to a home screen the way Remote Play does. There's no PS home to return to during a cloud session (only the game itself is streamed), so the same override that fixes Remote Play doesn't apply here.
Coming soon: a dedicated in-app behaviour so the PS button becomes a quick-switch back to your cloud library, letting you jump between cloud games without ending the session and re-entering Asobi. Enabling the override above is still the prerequisite, so it's worth setting now.
If Asobi is in the Home Button Overrides list but the button still doesn't do anything during a Remote Play session, restart the device once so the setting rebinds cleanly, then send us a note:
