Troubleshooting

Can't find console

  • • Ensure PlayStation® is turned on (not rest mode for initial setup)
  • • Check both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network
  • • Verify Remote Play is enabled in PlayStation® settings

Choppy or laggy video

  • • Connect PlayStation® via Ethernet cable
  • • Use 5GHz Wi-Fi instead of 2.4GHz
  • • Lower bitrate in console settings within the app
  • • Close bandwidth-heavy apps on your network

Wi-Fi interference (iPhone/iPad/Mac)

Apple's AWDL can cause channel switching. For best performance, set your router's 5GHz channel to:

  • Europe: Channel 44
  • US: Channel 149
  • Japan: Channel 44

Note: Does not affect Vision Pro.

Controller not connecting

  • • Disconnect and reconnect via Bluetooth settings
  • • Ensure controller firmware is updated
  • • Check controller battery level

Audio issues

  • • Check device volume and mute settings
  • • Ensure no other apps are using audio
  • • Try adjusting the audio buffer in settings
